We observed that, Parallelogram is drawn on a grid.

The area of a figure on grid is found by counting the total number of unit squares it occupies.

Clearly, Number of squares covered along the base of parallelogram $= 5$ units

Number of squares covered along the height of parallelogram $= 3$ units

Area of parallelogram $=$ Base $\times$ Height
