1 -(iii) Spore formation is a type of asexual reproduction in which spores are produced. Spores are microscopic structures with thick protective walls. Bread moulds reproduce by the formation of these structures which grows into new organisms when favourable conditions are provided. 2- (iv) The movement of seeds away from the parent plant is called dispersal fo seeds. Seeds are dispersed by various agents such as wind, water and animals. Hairy seeds are seen in Madar. These seeds are dispersed by wind. 3- (ii) Potato reproduces through vegetative propagation of stem tuber. It has buds on its surface which are also known as 'eyes'. These structures, when fall on the ground grows into new plants. 4- (vi) Budding is a type of asexual reproduction seen in yeast. A small bulb-like projection is formed on the body of yeast called bud which grows and becomes larger. This structure then detaches itself and grows into a new individual organism. It is also seen in an aquatic organism called Hydra . 5- (i) Rose plants are propagated through an artificial method of vegetative propagation. The stem of a rose plant along with a bud is cut and is sown in the soil [This structure is called stem cutting]. It produces roots and leaves and grows into a new plant. 6- (v) The process of fusion of male and female gamete to form a diploid cell called zygote is called fertilisation.
