In an ecosystem for the requirement of food and energy, different organisms are linked together with a process of eating and being eaten which is called the food chain. Different organisms can occupy different positions in a food chain i.e. they can occupy the position at any trophic level and do not have any fixed position. Thus, a network of different food chains that interlink together, is formed in an ecosystem which is called a food web.

Different food chains interlink together to form a food web. The food chains do not have an individual existence as such in any ecosystem. The given organisms can obtain food from many organisms which in turn can become food for the other group of organisms. The food web which will be formed by the organisms referred in the question is shown in the given figure.

In a food chain, the base tier is represented by the autotrophs (First trophic level) that are autotrophic and can synthesize their food. e.g Algae, Hydrilla, a maize plant, Phytoplankton, Nymphaea, Spirogyra, etc.

The next trophic level is occupied by primary consumers or herbivores (Second trophic level) i.e. Crustaceans, grasshopper, deer, mouse squirrel, rabbit, elephant, goat, etc. The next level will be occupied by secondary consumers (Third trophic level). e.g. Spider, cockroach, lizard, wolf, snake, toadfish, crane and the last level comprises the top carnivores or the tertiary consumers (Fourth trophic level). e.g Lion, Tiger.
