A Nation is not a casual collection of people, it is different from other forms of groups, communities and tribes found in society. A Nation is an imagined community held together by the collective beliefs, imaginations, aspirations of its members.

A Nation is based on assumptions like shared belief, common history, common territory, similar political ideas, and political identity that people construct about the collective whole with which they generally try to identify themselves.

A Nation is different from tribes, and various kinship groups in which marriage link members to each other so that even if we do not know each other, we can try to know them and build a relationship and could bind us all together.

As a member of the Nation, we might never get a chance to meet with most of our fellow nationals and we might not share ties of descent with them. But still, Nations very much exist and every member is valued by other members.
