The habitat is a place where the animals live along with its community. Frog is adapted for dual habitat i.e. to live both, on land and in water. Frog has the following adaptations:

Respiratory organs: The larval form of frog is adapted to live in water and therefore contains gills which can extract oxygen dissolved in water. On the other hand, the adult lives in damp, shady and moist surfaces, hence contains lungs for respiration and breathing.

Locomotory organs: Frogs have well-developed forelimbs and hindlimbs for the locomotion. The web connects the fingers to each other which somehow similar to the fins of fishes and facilitates swimming. However, they can also hop on the land surfaces with the help of their strong, muscular hind limbs.
