Adolescence is characterised by fast mental and physical development. As a result, adolescents must maintain good physical health.
(i) Adolescents should eat a well-balanced diet that is rich in carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals.
(ii) Adolescents should not eat fast food as a meal replacement since, despite its tempting taste, it is nutritionally deficient.

(iii) Adolescents should take care of their personal hygiene. Because of the increased activity of sweat and sebaceous glands, adequate body cleaning is required; otherwise, body smell and bacterial illness may result. During menstruation, girls should pay special attention to hygiene.
(iv) Adolescents should maintain physical and mental fitness through physical activities such as walking, jogging, and aerobics.
