In the following diagram, a number of objects are figured in motion or at rest. Make a list of the objects whom you classify as 'moving or 'not moving' (with respect to another object). Include some more objects you see in sky, on land, in water and in space.

Accepted Answer

Object (A), (C), (D), and (F) can not change their position with the time, therefore they are considered in the position of rest.

Object (B), (E), (G), and (H) can change their position with the time, therefore considered in the position of motion.

Object (B), (E), (G) show locomotion. In terms of physics, we can say that they show transitional motion.

object (H) is a clock. The pointers of the clock shows rotatory motion.
