Atmospheric pressure is the pressure exerted by the air. The weight of the air column over a unit area of the earth's surface is called atmospheric pressure. The magnitude of this pressure near the surface is greater and decreases as we go up. It is usually measured using a barometer and is normally measured in bar . Friction is a force that resists the relative motion of a body over another body in contact.
