Damages caused by the cyclone:

Very strong wind may uproots trees, collapses houses, and causes heavy loss to life.

The extremely low pressure in the eye of cyclone lifts the water from the surface of sea upwards to a height of $3 to 12 m$ that appears like a water wall. The water wall moving towards the low-lying region causes flood.

It may block all the rail and road transport system as well as telephones and other communication systems.

It leads to soil erosion, i.e., the top fertile layer of the soil is swept away with water currents.
