The water that flows along a river changes its colour due the various human activities like washing clothes, introducing the toxic chemicals from the industries, bathing animals, etc. All these activities lead to water pollution and effects the aquatic life.

Yes, I would like to bring the changes. In the picture we can see that the river is polluted at the village and cities. River is a source of freshwater. Polluted water in the river caused many water-borne diseases and affects our health. I would like to bring changes to the river by doing the following things: By creating awareness in the people of the village about, what exactly happens when they pollute the river. For example, People in the villages, bathe animals, wash utensils and clothes in the river water. Doing these activities in the river spread diseases and affects our health. Similarly, the people in the cities throw sewage waste and industrial waste directly into the river. I can create awareness among the people that industrial and sewage waste should be first treated to remove the harmful chemicals from it before throwing into the river. Doing this will make the river water free from toxic chemicals and the lives of the many aquatic organisms living in the water will not be disturbed.

It is very important to keep the rivers clean as they are the source of fresh water. To keep rivers clean the people living near the bank of the river should follow certain measures. They are as follows- They should never dump and litter the wastes like plastic, garbage, etc., into rivers. They should not bathe their animals and wash their clothes and utensils in the river. They should not throw the sewage waste and industrial waste into the rivers. Set up water treatment plants to remove all toxic chemicals before letting the wastewater into the rivers. Following these measures can stop the water pollution, spread the of water-borne diseases and save the lives of many aquatic organisms living in the water.
