The neuron can be characterised as the structural and functional unit of the nervous system. It is composed of dendrons, soma, axon hillock, axon, and synaptic knobs. Axon can be characterised as the elongated fibre of the neuron that extends from the soma to the terminal endings and transmits the neural signal. This structure carries the impulses away from the cell body.

Excretion is a natural process that helps animals, humans and other organisms to expel out the waste products (urea and uric acid) from the body.
