Animals have different body coverings to adapt and live comfortably in their habitats. It helps in many ways such as to keep their body warm, dry or protected from predators. A dog has hair or fur, a frog has moist skin, and a crocodile has dry scales.

Locomotion is the ability to move from one place to another. A dog has limbs that are specialised for a particular way of moving such as running, jumping, climbing, or swimming. A crocodile has legs with vacuum pads. It can run, crawl, glides and swims. Most frogs move by leaping. The long and powerful hind limbs are straightened rapidly from the crouching position, propelling the frog through the air.

A dog is an omnivore animal that eats both plants and animals consisting of raw meat, bones, organs and a small amount of the vegetable matter, etc. Crocodile is a carnivore and eats a variety of things, such as small mammals, birds, fish, bugs, frogs, other species of reptiles, and crustaceans. A frog is also a carnivore that eats insects such as flies and moths, as well as snails, slugs and worms. They use long tongues and sticky saliva to catch prey that passes them by.
