The removal of body wastes takes place in the following ways :

The undigested waste reaches the large intestine. The large intestine absorbs all the water present in the waste material (undigested food) and the solid waste left over. The solid waste remains store in the rectum and is removed out from the body through the anus.

The nitrogenous wastes such as urea, undergo an ultrafiltration process carried out by the nephrons of the kidney and converted into liquid waste material called the urine. The urine then reaches the urinary bladder through ureters and releases out from the body through the urethra.

During respiration, the oxygen combines with the food (glucose) reaches the body organs where it is broken down into carbon dioxide and water, and the energy is released. The energy is utilized in the life processes and the carbon dioxide is carried to the lungs through the blood. It further moves into bronchi and trachea and then released out from the body.
