(i)-(d) Jawbones are the structures in which teeth sockets are embedded. The upper jaw is an immovable joint formed between the skull and the upper jaw in which the bones are held so tightly together that they cannot move at all. The cockroach can fly in the air up and down with the two pairs of wings that are attached to the breastbone by the flight muscles.
