(c)-(iv) The parenchyma is called aerenchyma in aquatic plants. The aerenchyma helps in the aeration of tissues and provides buoyancy to the plants. (d)-(iii) The collenchyma is generally found below the epidermis of the dicot stem, petiole, and leaves. The cell wall of collenchyma is irregularly thick at the corners due to the deposition of extra cellulose. (e)-(v) The sclerenchyma cells are considerably thick-walled and lignified. They lose the protoplast and ability to divide after maturity. Thus, they become permanent tissue.
