(a)-(v) Amoeba is a single-celled organism. When it senses food it moves with its false feet known as pseudopodia. This encloses the food particle in a cavity called food vacuole. Egestion takes place from the vacuole. (b)-(i) Hydra lives in fresh water. It has long flexible tentacles present around its mouth. The tentacles, encircle the prey and release stinging cells. (c)-(iv) The salivary gland secretes a digestive juice i.e., saliva that helps in the break down of food. Once, the food is chewed it forms bolus. (d)-(ii) Bile juice is produced by the liver and is stored in the gall bladder. Bile helps in digestion of fats. (e)-(iii) The grass-eating animals are called ruminants. They have a four-chambered stomach: rumen, reticulum, omasum, abomasum.
