(a) The velocity-time graph here shows the graph is parallel to the time axis which means the velocity is constant or an object is changing its position uniformly. Example: A car is covering equal distances in equal intervals of time along a straight line.

(b) The velocity-time graph in the figure b shows a car is accelerating uniformly which means its velocity is increasing with time.

(c) The velocity-time graph in the figure c shows an accelerating car finally moving with uniform velocity and coming to rest.

(d) The velocity-time graph in the figure d shows decreasing in velocity, which means a car is retarding and finally coming to rest.

(e) The velocity-time graph in the figure e shows that the velocity decreases and becomes zero and again velocity increases. An example of this would be a car slowing down and coming to rest after applying breaks and then accelerating to get its initial velocity.
