Trade Union Movement
1. The socialist and communist philosophy helped in the revival of the trade union movement in India. In the Lucknow and Faizpur sessions of the congress held in 1936, Jawaharlal Nehru talked about the rights of the trade union.
2. Trade Union Movement got huge support from the Congress Socialist Party, whose first session held at Patna chaired by Narendra Dev.
3. Leaders like J.P Narayan, Ashok Mehta, Minoo Desai, and Achyut Patwardhan also gave huge support to the trade union movement.
4. With the growing popularity of the socialist ideology, the Congress Socialist Party, and the Trade Union Movement, British oppression also increased. And after the Meerut arrest the Trade Union got bifurcated into- Trade Union Federation and Communist Red Trade Union Congress.
5. In April 1935, finally, the Red Communist Trade Union Congress merged with the All India Trade Union Congress and their collective participation made All India Kishan Sabha a huge success in 1936.
