Stomata are responsible for the exchange of gases with the atmosphere. 2. - (c) Plants need four raw materials to make food. These are water, sunlight, carbon dioxide gas, and chlorophyll. 3. (a) The process of photosynthesis mostly occurs in the leaves of the plant. Parasites that are completely dependent on the host for nutrition are called total parasites. It is a type of heterotrophic nutrition.
