Food chain is defined as a sequence in which one organism eats the other organism. The grass is a kind of plant. Sun is the main source of energy on Earth. In a forest, grass (or plant) is eaten by insects such as grasshopper, the insects are eaten by frogs, the frog is eaten up by a snake, and finally, the snake may be eaten up by an eagle. So, the common food chain occurring in a forest habitat is:

Grass →→ Grasshopper →→ Frog →→ Snake →→ Eagle

Food web is the interconnection of all the food chains in an ecosystem. Each organism in an ecosystem occupies a specific trophic level or position in the food chain or web. Plants being the primary producers, herbivores are primary consumers and carnivores are secondary consumers.

These two food chains are interconnected and forms the food web as we can see that grass is eaten by several plant-eating animals like grasshopper and rabbit. The rabbit can be eaten by both snake and eagle.
