The disease is a condition in which the function of some organs is disrupted. In other words, the disease can be defined as a state in which the performance of the vital functions of various organs in our body is interrupted.

Different types of diseases with their examples are as follows:

Communicable disease
Communicable diseases are diseases that can be passed from an infected person to a healthy person. These diseases can be passed through the air, water, sexual contact, or through carriers. Examples of such diseases are tuberculosis and AIDS.

Non-communicable disease
Non-communicable diseases are diseases that cannot be passed from an infected person to a healthy person. Non-communicable diseases are confined to the infected person. They are non-infectious. Examples of such diseases are diabetes and cancer.

Acute diseases
The diseases that do not retain for a long time are known as acute diseases. Recovery rate is also faster in acute disease. Cough and cholera are the examples of acute diseases.
Chronic diseases

The diseases that remain for a long time in our body are called chronic diseases. The treatment lasts for a long period of time and the body organs are also affected in such disease. Tuberculosis and arthritis are the examples of chronic diseases.
