A volcano is a conical or dome-shaped hill or mountain that is created due to volcanic eruptions. In this process, magma is pushed out of the magma chamber due to internal pressure and comes out of the small opening called a vent, through a crater, where it is called lava. The lava flows, then piles up and slowly cools down to form volcanic mountains. Volcanic eruptions are dangerous and can cause severe damage. Eg., Mt. Etna (Italy), Mt. Fuji (Japan), Mt. Vesuvius (Italy), Mt. Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), etc.
