Ways of maintaining community hygiene are as below:

Providing good sewage and rainwater disposal systems.

Proper disposal of garbage. For the proper disposal of garbage, the government installed green and blue coloured bins in the colonies. Green coloured bins are used for the disposal of biodegradable waste and blue coloured bins are used for the non-biodegradable waste.

Drinking water should be chlorinated periodically.
