We can reduce pressure by changing the following-

1. By reducing volume.

2. By reducing mass.

3. By reducing density.

Explanation:

Materials required- Small piece of plastic sheet of size $1.5 {cm}^{2}$ , a solid metal cube and an instrument for measure pressure.

Procedure- Measure the pressure of the plastic sheet then measure the pressure of the solid metal cube. Note down both the measurements of pressure.

Observation- The pressure exerted by the solid metal cube is more. This is because pressure depends on the mass, volume, and density of a substance. In every aspect, the solid metal cube is greater. So, the pressure exerted by the solid metal cube is greater.

Conclusion- So it is proved that pressure exerted on object depends on its mass, volume, and density.
