(a) Equatorial- (iii) Broad-leaved evergreen trees: The Equatorial region's vegetation has a multitude of evergreen trees which yield tropical hardwoods, e.g. mahogany, ebony, greenheart, cabinet woods, and dyewoods. (b) Tropical- (i) Deciduous trees: The tropical forest occurs in the region with heavy rainfall half of the year and dry for the remaining year.
