From the given compound the hydrochloric acid reacts and converts the ester into the carboxylic acid and acetal group into the ketone. The two carboxylic acid groups are unstable on one carbon. So, it gives the decarboxylation reaction and formed the compound $A$ . The given compound on reaction with hydrochloric acid formed the one mole of compound $A$ and two moles of methanol and two moles of the propan $- 2 -$ ol and one mole of carbondioxide gas.

After that in reaction $A$ , there is nucleophilic addition reaction on the carbonyl compounds. The cyanide group further converts into the carboxylic acid by the hydrolysis.

In reaction $B$ , this is soda lime decarboxylation reaction. It converts the carboxylic acid into the alkane.

In reaction $C$ , this is Wolff Kishner reduction reaction. This converts the carbonyl compounds into the alkanes.

In reaction $D$ , this is Hell-Volhard-Zelinsky Reaction. In this the alpha-bromination of carboxylic acids.

In reaction $E$ , the ketone is converts into the amide by the Schmidt reaction.
