(a) - (i) The parenchyma are living cells. Their cell wall is made up of cellulose, no depositions on it. These cells are thin-walled and mostly they fill the gaps like cortex cells so, they are packing cells too. (b) - (ii) Photosynthesis is the process by which plants make their food themselves in presence of light with the help of carbon dioxide and water. Thus, photosynthesis is related to carbon dioxide fixation. This process occurs in leaves. (c) - (iv) The aerenchyma tissue helps in the floating of plants as they have large vacuoles. Thus, aerenchyma is linked to buoyancy. (d) - (iii) The collenchyma has a thick covering of hemicellulose and pectin on the corners of the cells that provides strength and flexibility to the plants. Thus, collenchyma is linked to localized thickening. (e) - (vi) The sclerenchyma, collenchyma, and parenchyma are permanent tissues, unlike meristematic cells, they cannot divide. (f) - (v) The cork originated from the cambium. Thus, the term cork is related to the cambium. Cork has the deposition of suberin.
