Which organism is more complex and evolved among bacteria, mushroom and mango tree. Give reasons.

Bacteria are unicellular prokaryotes. These are the primitive organisms do not have a well-defined nucleus as well as cell organelles. They may or may not have a cell wall and do have autotrophic or heterotrophic nutrition. Since they are simpler microscopic organisms who do not have a proper body organisation, they are placed under the Kingdom Monera.

While mushrooms are non-green, eukaryotic, multicellular organisms. They are heterotrophic in nutrition which in their case mostly obtaining food from dead and decaying matter. They are hence also called saprotrophic. Hence, Mushrooms are therefore placed into Kingdom Fungi due to these characteristics proving that they are more complex than bacteria.

Lastly, the Mango tree has a huge structure as compared to bacteria and mushrooms. It is put under Kingdom Plantae. They are multicellular, eukaryotic and have a well-differentiated body structure specialised for specific body functions. They have green structures called leaves which help them perform photosynthesis. The non-green bark helps them provide support and deep penetrating roots help them absorb nutrients. Therefore, these characteristics prove that amongst all the given types, the Mango tree is the most complex.
