Write the following reaction: Balz-Schiemann Reaction

The Balz–Schiemann reaction involves the transformation of a primary aromatic amine into an aryl fluoride via a diazonium tetrafluoroborate intermediate. Aryl amines, nitrous acid, and fluoroboric acid are the main reactants. The procedure entails diazotization of arylamines to aryl fluorides, followed by thermal decomposition of the resulting tetrafluoroborates or hexafluorophosphates. Photochemically induced breakdown is also possible. This reaction is notably important for producing fluorinated aromatic compounds, which usually produce a good yield of aromatic fluorides when decomposed in the absence of solvent.

Why does acetylation of - NH 2 group of aniline reduce its activity ?

The activating effect of - NH 2 group can be controlled because of acetylation with acetic anhydride, then carrying out the desired substitution followed by hydrolysis of the substituted amide to the substituted amine. The lone pair of electrons on the nitrogen of acetanilide interacts with the oxygen atom due to resonance as shown below:

Why aliphatic amines are stronger bases than ammonia?

Ammonia is a weaker base than alkyl amines. As we know that alkyl groups are electron-donating groups, this is due to the presence of alkyl groups. As a result, the electron density on nitrogen atoms increases, making it easier for them to donate lone pair electrons than ammonia. The alkyl groups or the hydrogen attached to them are electron-donating groups. The stronger the electron-donating group, the stronger the + I effect and thus the stronger the base. As a result, the NH 2 group in aliphatic amines is connected to an electron-donating alkyl group, resulting in the + I effect. Hence, the lone pair of electrons on nitrogen are readily accessible. Therefore, aliphatic amines are stronger bases than ammonia.
