1. Biotic components represented by organisms consist of producers, consumers, and decomposers.
Producers:-These are the main trees, shrubs, and herbs. Tree flora depending varied on the climate, whether tropical or temperate.
Consumers:-These consists of herbivores and carnivores.
Decomposers:-These include bacteria and fungi. These organisms derive their food from dead and decaying organisms.
2. Abiotic components are inorganic nutrients, organic components, and climatic factors.
The presence of litter is a characteristic feature of the forest ecosystem. Litter after decomposition added to the fertility of the soil.
