(i) use write the numerals for the words

(ii) we separate the digits according to the period by using a comma. A comma is used after the "billions", "millions" and "thousands" period.

(iii) the numbers formed by the digits in one period are written together.

For example, in order to write the number "fifty-two billion six-hundred-twenty-three million seven-hundred-thirty-four thousand one hundred ninety-two", first we shall write the number as $52623734192$ and then, put commas after the "billions", "millions" and "thousands" period. Thus, the number in numerals will be $52, 623, 734, 192$ .

Hence, the number "two billion, forty-four million, seven hundred thirty-eight thousand, six hundred thirty-eight" will be written in numerals as $2, 044, 738, 638$ .
