(6) Within the formula there should not be any space between representations of ionic species.
(7) When charged coordination entity formula is written without counter ion formula, the charge is written outside the square bracket as the right superscript with number before the sign.
(8) The charge of the cation is balanced by the charge of an anion respectively.

By using the above rule the formula of the compound tetrathiocyanato-N-zincate $(II)$ will be
