A receiver is one of the important parts of the communication system. A receiver is a device that chooses a signal from a communication channels many signals, recovers the baseband signal, and sends it to the user. It receives the message signal at the channel output, reconstructs it in recognisable form of the original message for delivering it to the user of information. It amplifies the signal and then mixes it with the signal from the local oscillator and filters for the baseband signal and then demodulates, and the signal is given to the user. The block diagram of the receiver is shown above. It consists of amplifier, mixer, filter and demodulator and also a local oscillator.
