There is a tea-stall of Nilmoni uncle at the crossing of our locality. My brother and I often go to uncle's stall after our study and help him in many ways. Today we have also gone there. We have seen that Nilmoni uncle was mixing some Darjeeling tea with Assam tea in casket No.1.

Let's calculate the quantities of Assam tea and Darjeeling tea out of 25 Kg of blended tea in casket No. 3 if these are blended in a ratio of measurement 3:2.

Today we have also gone there. We have seen that Nilmoni uncle was mixing some Darjeeling tea with Assam tea in casket No.3

In casket No. 3 the ratio of quantities of Assam tea and Darjeeling tea is 3:2.

Let's work out the quantities of ratio of Assam tea and Darjeeling tea if additional 7 kg of Assam tea is mixed with 25 kg of blended tea in casket No. 3

Answer:
The quantity of Assam tea in casket No. 3 is  25 kg×35=15 kg

And the quantity of Darjeeling tea is 25 kg×25=10 kg

Total quantity of Assam tea after mixing 7 kg of that of the same =? kg

Now the quantity of Assam tea: the quantity of Darjeeling tea out of the blended tea in casket No. 3 is 22:10=11:5

Instead of mixing 7 kg of Assam tea with the blended tea in casket No. 3, 2 kg of Darjeeling tea would have been mixed.

Let's work out what the ratio of measurement of Assam tea and Darjeeling tea would be in the new blend.

There is a tea-stall of Nilmoni uncle at the crossing of our locality. We have seen that Nilmoni uncle was mixing some Darjeeling tea with Assam tea in a casket. In this casket, the ratio of the quantities of Assam tea and Darjeeling tea is 5:2 and total quantity of mixture is 21 kg. What quantity of Darjeeling tea in kg needs to be mixed with the blended tea in the casket, so that the ratio of measurements of Assam tea and Darjeeling tea will be 5:3?

In casket No. 2, the ratio of the quantities of Assam tea and Darjeeling tea is 2:1 and total quantity of mixture is 21 kg.

Let's calculate what quantity of Darjeeling tea needs to be mixed with the blend in casket No. 2. so that the ratio of Assam tea and Darjeeling tea will be 7:4 in the new blend.

I prepared two types of beverage in my house. The ratio of measurement of syrup and water in two types of beverage are 2:7 and 1:5 respectively. Let's calculate the ratio of measurement of syrup and water if 27 litres of first beverage is mixed with the 18 litres of the second.

Answer:
The proportional part of the quantity of first syrup =22+7=??

And the proportional part of the quantity of water is =??

The quantity of syrup in the first beverage is =29×27 litre=6 litre

And the quantity of water is 79×27 litre=21 litre

In the same way,

The proportional part of the quantity of syrup of the second beverage is ??
And the proportional pan of the water is ??

The quantity of syrup in the 18 litres of beverage of second type is=? litres

And the quantity of water is=? litres

The quantity of syrup in the 18 litre of beverage is =6 litres+3 litres=? litre

And the quantity of the water is21 litres+15 litres=? litres

In the new beverage the quantity of syrup:quantity of water 9:36=1:4

My brother has prepared a beverage in a jug with syrup and water at a ratio of measurement of  3:1. Let's work out what part of the drink will be removed and replaced by water so that the volume of syrup and water becomes equal.

Let's think x unit of beverage is there in the jug. y unit of it is removed and replaced by the same volume of water.

The quantity of syrup in x units of beverage is  =34×x units =3x4 units

And the quantity of water is =?? units

Again, the quantity of syrup in y units is =34×y units

=3y4 units

And the quantity of water is y4 units

If y units of syrup is replaced from x units of syrup,

The remaining quantity of syrup is 3x4-3y 4 units
And the quantity of water is x4-y 4 units

Again, y units of water is added

Now, the quantity of water is =x4-y4+y

According to the condition, x4-y4+y3x4-3y4=21

x4-y4+y=6x4-6y4

x4-6x4=y4-y-6y4

x-6x4=y-4y-6y4

-5x4=-9y4

-5x=-9y

y=5x9

Total 59 part of the beverage will be removed and replaced by the water with the same quantity so that the ratio of the quantity of water and syrup will be 2:1.
