To represent the above data in the form of a vertical bar diagram, the steps are given below:

Draw two perpendicular lines-one horizontal (X-axis) and one vertical (Y-axis).

Along the Y-axis mark 'the life span in years' and along the X-axis mark 'name of animals'.

Select a suitable scale on the Y-axis, say $1 cm = 10$ years.

Calculate the heights of the bars by dividing the frequencies with the scale.
