Many Indians contributed to the framing of the Indian Constitution Dr B.R Ambedkar played the most crucial role in framing our Constitution, as he was the Chairman of the drafting committee under whose guidance the document was finalised. In his final speech, Dr Ambedkar concluded that political economy can be achieved if there is social and economic equality. According to him, having the mere right to vote would not automatically build the bridge between rich or poor or will not reduce the gap between, Upper and Lower Caste. Rather, with the new Constitution, India would enter into a life of contradictions.

Therefore, he explained that ideally, we may follow the principle of one vote one value, but in reality, due to differences in our social and economic structure, we will not be able to completely implement it in our lives.
