Energy is the ability to do work, and it can be transformed from one form to another. The different forms of energy produced in each case and the one we usually make use of are as follows:
When a torch is lit it produces electrical energy and light energy, but we use light energy produced by it to see in the dark. The electrical energy is produced inside the battery.

When a candle burns it produces heat energy and light energy, but we use light energy to see in the dark. The heat energy is produced in the form of flame of the candle.

When the firewood is burning in an oven it produces heat energy, and we make use of that heat energy either to cook or warm ourselves in winters.

When an electric bulb is lit it produces electrical energy, heat energy and light energy, but we make use of light energy that makes the things visible in the room.

When a cracker burst it produces chemical energy due to all the explosive substances that were used in making it as well as it produces sound, heat and light energy, but we make use of light energy and sound energy as it is used during occasions and festivals.
