Testosterone is a male sex hormone that is secreted by the primary sex organs in males i.e. Testes. This hormone is responsible for the maturation of sperms and the appearance of secondary sexual characteristics in males. Both of these are associated exclusively with males. The ovaries in females secrete female gamete, ovum and also produce the hormone Oestrogen. Both of these are associated exclusively with females. Parathyroid gland and Thyroid gland are the endocrine glands present in both males and females.
