Antibodies are blood proteins produced in response to and counteracting a specific antigen when any disease-causing microorganism enters our body. They fight against the disease-causing microorganisms and protects our body from infectious diseases.

Canning is the process used to preserve the food materials to prevent spoilage. In this process, the food material which is to be canned is heated at high temperature to kill bacteria and spores. After heating, the food is sealed in airtight containers to prevent reinfection by microorganisms.

The microorganisms which cause diseases in humans, animals, and plants are known as pathogens. Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi, Protozoan, and Helminthes are different types of microorganisms that cause infectious diseases.
