The selection process comprises three stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standards Test (PST), and Medical Examination.

BSF GD Constable Selection Process 2022

Candidates need to be aware of all the stages of the BSF GD Constable Recruitment 2022 and prepare accordingly. The three stages of the GD Constable are as follows:

BSF GD Constable Computer-Based Examination

The BSF GD Constable computer-based examination consists of one objective-type paper. The paper consists of 80 questions worth 2 marks each. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer. The exam will be conducted in English and Hindi. Only candidates who clear the Computer Based Exam will be eligible to take part in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST). These tests are used to assess the candidates’ physical fitness and will be conducted for both male and female candidates.

BSF GD Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The conducting body will test if they’re fit enough for the post by conducting a running race. The details of the test are as follows.
