The JEE Main Paper 1 has three sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. JEE Main Paper 2 has three sections, namely, Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing. JEE Main Paper 3 also has 3 sections – Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning related questions. The JEE Main syllabus is based on the syllabus of Class 11 and 12 as prescribed by CBSE. It is to be noted that there is no separate JEE Main syllabus for lateral entry and Diploma holder students.

JEE Main Syllabus & Exam Pattern
Before getting into the details of JEE Main syllabus, it’s important to know that JEE Main has three papers:
- Paper 1 – For admission to B. Tech/B.E
- Paper 2 – For admission to B. Arch
- Paper 3 – For admission in B. Planning
