Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) 2024

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is a state education board for Rajasthan state. It was established in 1957 and was constituted under the Rajasthan Secondary Education Act 1957. The board regularizes and is responsible for developing and managing secondary education in Rajasthan. All the schools affiliated with the Rajasthan Board implement the guidelines and structure issued by the Board. RBSE aims to provide academic guidelines, textual resources, support material, enhancement activities and capacity-building programmes in its schools.

The Rajasthan Board conducts exams for classes 6 to 8. The results are provided in the grading system. These grades are provided to students depending on their performance and their marks. For higher classes, there is a single annual exam. It is generally conducted in February/March every year.

RBSE Board Grading System for Primary Classes

The RBSE grading system is different for primary classes and secondary classes. In classes 6 to 8, students obtain grades as per the percentage of marks they scored. Thus, the more marks in all the subjects, the higher their percentage and grade will be.

RBSE Secondary School Grading System

In secondary classes, the grading system includes grade points. The grading system is similar to the primary grading system. Students are given grades based on their scores in their exams. Students must obtain at least 33% to pass the Class 10 and 12 board exams.
