New NCERT Books For New CBSE Syllabus?
According to the official statement released by the HRD ministry on May 6, 2020:
- – CBSE Syllabus for the upcoming academic session will be reduced.
- – The CBSE will soon release the new syllabus for session 2020-21.
- – It will have fewer topics than those of previous years.
- – This decision was taken after looking at the fact that the nationwide lockdown has severely affected the normal CBSE curriculum.

The HRD minister has said students can use this time (referring to lockdown period) to study through digital modes.
