The requirements for an IB student to enrol as a diploma applicant begin in the eleventh grade and include the following:

  • Enrol for six IB courses over a two-year period. (For more information, check the “Subjects” tab; subjects are classified into “Groups,” therefore students are expected to take an examination in each of the subject groups.)
  • Analyze each of the six IB topic areas (each candidate must pay the fee for all the exams).
  • Create a 4000-word essay from scratch (known as an Extended Essay).
  • Taking part in C.A.S. (Creativity, Action, and Service) will allow candidates to build a portfolio that shows they have met the learning objectives.
