UP Police SI Selection Process 2023: Stage 1

 UP Police SI Selection Process 2023: Stage 2

Candidates who clear the first stage of the selection process will be able to appear for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification. In this stage, candidates have to prove their physical fitness. Candidate’s height and chest measures are taken into account, and they vary depending on the category. The following are the specifications for both males and females:

Also, note that the males should have a chest expansion of 5 cm and females should weigh at least 40 kg as prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board. 

UP Police SI Document Verification 2023

Once the candidates clear the two stages of the UP Police SI selection process, the documents will be verified. Candidates should also clear the document verification stage to get shortlisted for Stage 3. The UPPRPB releases the UP Police SI Document Verification list. It will include documents like photo ID proof, Aadhaar, mark sheets, passport-size photos PAN, and so on. 

UP Police SI Selection Process 2023: Stage 3

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is the third stage of the UP Police SI selection process. This test involves a running race. Candidates who clear this stage will make it to the last stage. The following are the specifics of the PET:

UP Police SI Selection Process 2023: Stage 4

Medical Examination is the last stage of the UP Police SI selection. The candidates must meet the following requirements during the 4th stage of the UP Police SI selection process:

• Minimum of a 6/6 or 6/9 score in the distant vision test without their eyeglasses.
• In the case of each eye, full-field vision should be present.
• Candidates shall be disqualified in case of squint, colour blindness, or any morbid condition of either eye or both eyes. 
• Candidates must be physically fit. Additionally, there should not be any physical disability in regard to the hands and legs of the candidates.
