Candidates undergo two stages of the exam - prelims and mains, followed by an interview. The selection process for the Bihar Cooperative Bank Assistant exam is as follows:

  • Tier I: Preliminary examination: Preliminary examination is the first and foremost step of the recruitment process. The prelims question paper will be bilingual (both Hindi and English except for the English language subject paper). The prelims exam is qualifying in nature i.e. a candidate has to get minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for appearing in the mains exam. The prelims exam is of 100 marks and the exam duration is 60 minutes.
  • Tier II: Mains examination: The students who qualified the preliminary examination are allowed to take the mains exam. This is the second step of the recruitment process. Candidates need to obtain minimum qualifying marks in the mains examination to appear for the interview process. The mains exam is of 200 marks and the total duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
  • Interview: The candidates who have qualified in the mains examination are allowed to appear for the interview process. This is the last stage of the selection process. The interview was conducted by expert panel members to test the confidence and domain knowledge of the candidates.

The Bihar Cooperative Bank Assistant Admit Card will be released about two weeks before the Bihar Cooperative Bank Assistant Exam 2022. For each stage of the test process, BSCB issues individual admission cards. All candidates who have successfully enrolled for the Bihar Cooperative Bank Assistant Prelims examination will receive their admission cards.

Exam Date

The official notification about BSCB Assistant Prelims for the year 2022 is likely to be released in February 2022. In general, two or three months of time duration is there for the prelims examination from the date of notification release. The examination venue and examination date along with the time will be mentioned on the admit card.  As per the official notification, the prelims exam is likely to be conducted in July 2022. Candidates must take meticulous note of the exam date and location, as well as the time it will take them to get there, taking into consideration the probability of severe traffic. Education Qualification

Educational qualification for Bihar Cooperative Bank Assistant Examination: An applicant must have a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any discipline or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. Bihar State Cooperative Bank Service Bond

Candidates selected for probationary positions in the Bihar State Cooperative Bank and the District Central Cooperative Bank shall sign a three-year service bond with the respective bank in accordance with the Cooperative Department's requirements. Candidates who are appointed as probationers in cooperative banks will be required to serve a one-year probation period. Candidates will not be entitled to any benefits or allowances during their probation period, with the exception of the emoluments listed above, and PF deductions will be made in accordance with the guidelines. At the time of the appointment, you will be required to post a bond. The assistant grade will sign a bond for 75,000/- at the time of appointment in case of resignation from service. In addition, selected candidates must pass a computer efficiency test during the first year of their probationary period. On successful completion of the probation period, confirmation will be made.
