ESIC Recruitment 2022: The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation has released a notice regarding the Phase-I exam date for UDC and Stenographer posts. According to the notice, ESIC will conduct the exam for Upper Division Clerk (UDC) on March 19 and for Stenographer on March 20, 2022. Furthermore, the officials will soon release admit cards for the exam.
Candidates will download their exam admit cards online from the official website. Moreover, they need to enter login credentials to download the hall ticket. Nationality: To be eligible for ESIC recruitment 2022, the candidates need to be Indian citizens or subject to Nepal/Bhutan/Tibet. Candidates must hold an authorized document issued by the Government of India.
Age: To be eligible for any of the offered ESIC posts through ESIC Recruitment 2022 exam, the candidates must be aged between 18 and 35 years at the time of filling out the application form for the ESIC exam.
Educational Qualification: We have mentioned below the minimum required educational qualification for the posts offered through ESIC recruitment:

2. He/she should have a working knowledge of computers including the use of Office suites and databases.

Skill Test: Candidates should also have a speed of 80 words per minute in stenography in Hindi/ English and also have basic knowledge of Computers.
Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) (Only on computers).

Candidates need to fill out an application form online mode on the official website of ESIC. Candidates cannot fill or submit the application form offline mode. The ESIC exam for various posts is conducted in online mode at various exam centres throughout the country. Candidates who are seeking any of the offered ESIC posts will be given the option to select the exam centre as per their choice. Candidates have to select three exam centres in the application form in order to their preference. The written examination for testing the eligibility of the candidates will be conducted in 3 stages: Prelims, Mains, and Computer Skill Test. The candidate has to qualify in all three stages to get qualified for further selection criteria. Here is the exam pattern for all three stages.

In this exam, candidates are tested for their Computer Skills. A total of 50 questions are asked in the exam and a total of 50 marks are distributed in the exam. The total duration of the Detail of the Upper Division Clerk (UDC) Computer skill test can be checked in the table below:

The ESIC Stenographer selection process 2022 will be conducted in two phases: Phase-I & Phase-II. Phase-I is the main exam and the Phase-II includes Stenography Test. Candidates applying for the post of ESIC Stenographer must be well versed in shorthand typing either in English or Hindi.

Note: There is a sectional time limit in the exam. There is a negative marking of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer marked.
Phase II is a stenography test, and qualifying in nature. Candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi at the speed of 80 words per minute. Candidates have to transcribe the matter on a computer. The transcription time is as follows:
