The ESIC requires candidates to be of certain nationalities to be eligible for the ESIC UDC Exam. Candidates who are willing to apply for the exam must be of the following nationality:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or 
  • An individual of Indian origin who has come from Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently living in India. 

Candidates who are not of Indian nationality must provide a document of proof that they can work in the country issued by the Government of India.

  • 1st Step: Visit Embibe’s official website, i.e., embibe.com.
  • 2nd Step: Use the mobile number/email to log in.
  • 3rd Step: Click on the menu bar “Getting a Government Job” 
  • 4th Step: Select the Goal “Insurance” from the Dropdown and click on “Next”.
  • 5th Step: Search and Select “ESIC UDC Preliminary Exam” on the search bar and click on “Next”.
  • 6th Step: Select the preferred language and click on “Done”.
  • 7th Step: Click “Practice” from the Header Section.
  • 8th Step: Scroll down to the “Subjects” section.
  • 9th Step: Click on any ESIC UDC Preliminary Exam subjects.

ESIC UDC Educational Qualification Criteria

Candidates have to fulfil the educational qualification criteria to be able to apply for the exam successfully. The ESIC UDC Exam eligibility for education qualification criteria are as follows:

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from any university or institution recognised by the Government of India.
  • Any degree or diploma certificate equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

ESIC UDC Age Limit Criteria

The ESIC UDC Exam has a lower and upper age limit set by the conducting body. No candidates over the set age limit will be allowed to sit for the exam. The age limit criteria for the ESIC UDC Exam are as follows:

  • Candidates cannot be below the age of 18 years.
  • The maximum age limit for candidates to apply successfully is 27 years.
