Educational QualificationThe Student Must Not Have Appeared (Or Been Scheduled to Appear) In the Class 12 Board Examination Earlier Than October 30, 2022.
The Student Must Not Have Begun (Or Planning to Start) Studies in a University or Equivalent Institution by June 1, 2023.
Passport RequirementsThe Students Must Be Eligible to Hold an Indian Passport.
Students With OCI Cards Will Be Eligible to Appear in the IOQM Exam Based on the Conditions That, as per the Orders of the Madras High Court, Students With OCI Status Will Not Be Eligible to Be Selected in the Indian Group for the International Mathematical Olympiad. However, They Will Be Provisionally Eligible for Selection at All Prior Stages of the Exam, Including the IMOTC, Provided They Fulfil All Other Eligibility Criteria.
NationalityThe Student Must Have Been Residing and Studying in India Since October 30, 2020, or the Student Must Have Studied in an Indian School System Since October 30, 2020.
Other CriteriaStudents Satisfying the Age Limit Criteria Above and Studying in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) And Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) Will Be Eligible to Write IOQM. There Will Be No Separate Ioqm for Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) Students and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Students.
The INMO 2022 Awardees Are Eligible to Write INMO 2023 Without Qualifying Through IOQM, Provided They Fulfil the Eligibility Criteria of IMO 2023 and EGMO 2024.
IOQM Certificate CriterionAny Student Who Scores at Least 20% Of the Total Marks on the IOQM Paper Will Receive a Certificate.
