IOQM PRMO and RMO Exam Date 2023

The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is open to students who have successfully qualified for the Indian Olympiad in Mathematics (IOQM). The IMO Training Camp comprises six stages, with the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) and the Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad (PRMO) being two of them.

The IOQM exam took place on October 30, 2022, and students who passed it were eligible to take the INMO 2023 on January 15, 2023, at designated examination centres. On March 15, 2023, an email containing an invitation letter have been sent to the selected students at the email address they provided during their registration for INMO 2023. IOQM PRMO and RMO Application Date

To register for PRMO 2023, students must fill out the application form and submit it to their registered school along with a passport-sized photograph, a photocopy of their school ID card, and a birth certificate. The school must collect a registration fee of Rs. 200/- from each student for IOQM registration.

IOQM PRMO and RMO Exam Day Instructions

It is important that students follow the following instructions on the day of the exam.

  • Students must arrive at the exam location on IOQM 2023 no later than 11:30 AM.
  • In the first hour following the start of the exam and the final 30 minutes before the exam’s conclusion, no student shall be permitted to turn in their answer booklet and leave the examination room.
  • On the exam day, students must bring their school photo ID, Aadhaar Card/ Passport, and hall ticket downloaded from the registration website.
  • If possible, students must get a geometry toolbox to the testing location. They will be allowed to use a ruler and compass. Using a protractor, a divider, or a set square is not permitted.
  • Students must bring their own writing instruments, including pencils, erasers, and sharpeners. Using a blue or black pen to write clearly is recommended. Diagrams of geometry should be neatly created with a pencil and labelled appropriately.
  • It is prohibited to use calculators of any kind or in any way during the exam.
  • Mobile phone use is not allowed during the exam.
  • Please give only the answer book after the exam. The exam paper is to be kept with students.
